Regulate the access control and tourniquet system at the entrance-exit point of the University;
Welcome the visitors, check their National ID cards and provide them with escort services and other public assistance;
Ensure the registration of guests/visitors by recording their required information on the registration book, or on the computer system;
Patrol University premises to ensure personal, building and equipment security;
Control and register the hand overed keys, incoming and outgoing items;
Receive letter and parcels sent by postal service, and provide their delivery accordingly;
Watch for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, emergency situations, facility and safety hazards; contacts emergency responders, such as police, fire and/or ambulance personnel, as required;
Examine doors, windows, gates, study and non-study rooms once the working and study hours finish;
Investigate the accidents and observe the territory of University through the CCTV surveillance cameras;
Monitor closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities;
Inform and warn violators of rule infractions, such as littering, smoking;
Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators;
Monitor assigned parking areas and/or parking garages to provide public security and assistance.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by the Immediate Supervisors;

High school diploma or a College degree in related areas;
Work experience within security services of minimum 2 years;
Fluent proficiency in Azerbaijani language. Intermediate knowledge of English and Russian is preferred;
Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills;
Calm and stress resistant with a common sense of politeness and customer oriented;
Ability to detect problems and ensure security procedures are in place;
Ability to manage time efficiently and disciplined;
