Set-up Approval (Checking and approval of all project Cost and Work Breakdown Structures to ensure that both internal and external Project Services requirements are being met.)
Identify, implement and maintain the complete Project Management System/Controls structure, tools, and procedures needed for the Infrastructure Team based on the scope, contracting strategy, execution plan, and risks identified.
Develop and maintain a Project Controls Plan
Own the control processes and ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities
Control of overall budget
Prepare and obtain approval of the annual expenditure forecasts and cost re-estimates
Set-up, provide, and manage risk management, project planning & scheduling, cost estimating, and cost engineering services
Support delivery of Information Management Services including document control, data control and administration services to the project team.
Own and manage the change control and claims management processes.
Interface with major contractors and vendors to understand their project control tools & processes and establish procedures for information flow from & to the project, i.e. status reports, schedule updates etc.
Coordinate the flow of project cost, schedule, and resource information within the Infrastructure team and other key stakeholders.
Develop effective reporting methods for communicating performance and status to all stakeholders.
Analyse performance data in detail and provide steering advice to the Program Director
Assist in the preparation, evaluation and award of contracts.
Interface Management (facilitating communication between and among Project-team, Finance and Corporate Management).
Quality Control (ensuring projects are controlled, monitored, and documented according to Project Services standards /specifications).
Personnel Management (functional responsible for the performance and professional development of all Project Services staff within the Worley).
Ability to use planning tools such as Primavera

Need to have held project controls management positions, and be very familiar with the establishment and application of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools.
Minimum 10 years experience in project controls and contract management of major projects.
Commercial experience, including contracts and procurement is desirable.
