- Responsible for the technical quality, technical content and delivery schedule of all work performed by discipline team
- Check that the EPC Contractor develops the scope of works as defined in the Contract
- Comment on Contractor's design documentation
- Providing advice and experience to the Client
- Co-ordinating and resolving comments from Client to Contractor
- Participate to meetings with Client and EPC Contractor
- Provide technical support to the project management team
- Support mechanical engineers working within the group by providing technical advice and solutions to issues arising on project tasks
- Adequacy in competence/qualification and manpower of staff engineers.
- Quality of design and engineering activities of the Discipline and the satisfactory execution of all Contract commitments.
- Uniformity of the approach of each job team to the design and engineering developed within the Discipline.
- Issuing, updating and distributing of all Discipline Guidelines
- Continuous monitoring of Project Execution and performance of the discipline.
- Assuring the implementation, within his own activities, of the applicable laws and standards requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment during the engineering phase#
- Implementing the instructions regarding Health, Safety and Environmental aspects indicated by the appointed functions
- Supervising that his personnel respect the applicable HSE requirements
- Enforcing the Emergency procedures, if necessary
- Performing the necessary internal systematic verification / Implementing the corrective actions
Xüsusi tələblər
- Extensive experience in the role (static/rotating/package)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven track record of working on EPC projects for Oil & Gas facilities, especially refineries
- Experience in PMC role and revamping of refineries
- Fully knowledgeable about codes, standards & recommended practices for this discipline
- Fluent in English
