Adhere to Company HES requirements
Ensure to comply with Company business ethics policies and procedures
Establish project cost budgets in the cost system
Ensure cost data is captured in the cost system in accordance with Cost Reporting and Review Guidlines
Monitor and report cost budgets, commitments, expenditures through all phases of the project lifecycle
Liaise with other project functions as required, to ensure accurate and timely capture of project costs
Work closely with responsible Project Engineer to provide a good visibility and analysis on Budget position, Cost Reporting and phasing of VOWD and Forecast To Go by Project/ WBS
Ensure all project costs are allocated accurately in accordance with approved project WBS
Provide copies of project cost reports as directed in accordance with project reporting requirements
Develop and monitor cost forecasts including the impact of project manpower forecasts
Support Commercial Close out of the Projects
Support other Cost Team members to ensure deadlines and quality requirements are met
Attend project meetings as required

Knowledge and experience of cost engineering principles and techniques within the Oil and Gas industry
Must have detailed knowledge of and familiarity with cost reporting and forecasting techniques techniques
Detailed knowledge of project work breakdown structures (WBS)
Good communicator who will liaise with Lead and Project Engineers to ensure cost reports are produced and updated in a timely manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team player
Work with engineering and construction teams
Liaise with others in project controls team
Challenge areas of estimates which have been provided by others
Working knowledge of excel and workbook cost reporting
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a cost engineering role and held positions in an EPC project environment
Knowledge of engineering and construction projects in the oil and gas industry, preferably in both onshore and offshore environments
