  • Execute the overall communications strategy (internally and externally) for the USAID Private Sector Activity to highlight achievements and effectively communicate progress,
  • Collaborate with Digital Communications Specialist to develop and maintain a communications work plan to promote the vision and results of the project to stakeholders, including USAID, government counterparts, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop communications materials such as success stories, blogs, articles, handouts, presentations, and project reports in collaboration with the project team and CNFA HQ team.
  • Backstop the Digital Communications Specialist to maintain project social media channels (Facebook and YouTube) to promote the work of the Activity.
  • Manage local media awareness campaigns and ensure the coverage of the USAID Private Sector Activity in different local media outlets, including radio, TV, and newspapers.
  • Assist the technical teams in preparing awareness campaigns.
  • Coordinate and support programmatic and high-profile events, delegations, and field visits by U.S. government agencies, International Organizations and donors, embassies, and local partners and stakeholders.
  • Execute the overall digital communications strategy (internally and externally) for the USAID Private Sector Activity to highlight achievements and effectively communicate progress, ensuring that the strategy is aligned with the global CNFA approach.
  • Develop and maintain a digital communications work plan to promote the vision and results of the project to stakeholders, including USAID, government counterparts, and other stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of project social media channels (Facebook and YouTube) by developing, scheduling, and publishing content;
  • Contribute to the project’s social media goals such as improving the number of page followers, enhancing the reach of posts, facilitating online engagement, and creating relevant campaigns;
  • Support photography and videography of programmatic and high-profile events, delegations, and field visits by U.S. government agencies, International Organizations and donors, embassies, and local partners and stakeholders.
  • As directed by the COP, ensure quality control of all reports, communications materials, and other project-related/generated documents.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the COP or designee.

Xüsusi tələblər

  • A minimum of three years of experience managing communication activities for donor-funded programs is preferred;
  • Experience in developing fact sheets, success stories, blogs, reports, and other communications support material;
  • Demonstrated experience in program and event management and developing and implementing communications plans;
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience working in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of USAID Branding Strategies and Marking Plans (desired but not required);
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
  • Ability to travel to support and record project activities;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Azerbaijani are required; and
  • Current authorization to work in Azerbaijan is required.
