Trainee Inspector

Assisting Operations in the utilization of inspection units and general inspection processes.
Thread inspection.
Magnetic Particle Inspection.
Cleaning and repair of pipe threads.
Drifting and sorting of tubulars.
Removal and application of thread compounds.
Equipment set up and tear down.
Unit calibration.
Basic unit maintenance.
General housekeeping and shop clean up.
Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the SOP processes, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements.
Participate in training programs as required by the company.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and/or certification and/or technical education in inspection eg. UT and MPI disciplines.
Oil and Gas Industry experience and/or education eg. Baku Higher Oil School/Oil and Gas University.
Ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job duties.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service, as well as hard working and diligent personality.
Work is performed in a shop and yard environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.
Physical requirements: squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 23 kilograms, walking on rough ground, and working near moving equipment.
