Check that EPC Contractor maintains permanent safety supervision staff, enforce safety regulations and procedures and conduct regular safety meetings
Monitor that EPC Contractor deploys sufficient construction resources
Audit engineering drawings in field to verify that the latest revisions are used and document control procedures are effective
Review EPC Contractor’s procedures and monitor compliance with approved documentation
Exercise quality assurance over construction, by selective review of installations, witnessing of inspections, audit of test and inspection records, etc. Undertake supplementary inspection of the plant on a sampling basis and recommend acceptance of mechanical completion of the plant on a work element basis, building up to a system and unit basis
Review field supplementary designs and design modifications
Monitor EPC Contractor’s work at agreed key milestones and intervals
Monitor handling, storage, maintenance and installation of main materials and equipment
Report delays on EPC Contractor’s work and recommend actions.
Witness important tests during site visit by specialists
Monitor EPC Contractor’s work for conformity with approved documents and safety procedures
Review EPC Contractor’s Monthly Progress Reports
Check the accuracy of As Built drawings prepared by EPC Contractor
Monitor that all mechanical and hydraulic tests are witnessed and successful completion certified

Must have a degree in Engineering
Minimum of 10 years prior background in engineering
Experience in PMC, in refinery and revamping of refinery
Wood employee/former employee with experience in Amec Foster Wheeler Italiana projects would be a plus
Ability to technically deal with other disciplines and to coordinate medium / large engineering team
Fluent in English
