Align with strategic objectives and IT operations strategy.
Provide L1 support for Azerconnect IT systems.
Manage high-quality support services aligned with SLAs and customer expectations.
Oversee database backup, restore, and recovery policies.
Ensure database availability and defect-resistance.
Administer Oracle server software, evaluate features, and perform database tuning.
Manage 3rd-party vendor relationships and coordinate support services.
Oversee 2nd line managed support services and liaise with 3rd line teams.
Ensure database security, including user roles and privileges.
Perform change, incident, fault management, and escalate as needed.
Manage team morale, project follow-ups, and disciplinary actions.
Optimize IT operations databases, services, and processes.
Ensure adherence to IT Security and Azerconnect policies.
Provide technical diagnosis and support development teams.
Communicate and collaborate effectively within and outside the organization.
Deliver excellent customer service to both domestic and international clients.
Demonstrate high professional ethics and problem-solving abilities.
Adapt quickly to rapidly changing technical environments.
Develop and manage budgets and work priorities effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a technical field.
4+ years of experience in database management.
Deep knowledge of database systems and practical experience required.
4+ years of experience in IT system administration.
Fluent in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
Proven experience in managing complex environments.
Certification in database administration is preferred.
Experience in database installations on Microsoft, Solaris, and Linux platforms.
Proficiency in Linux (bash scripting) and general network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model).
Experience with Oracle Grid Control and monitoring tools.
Strong knowledge of memory systems, cluster solutions, WAN/LAN technologies, server virtualization, storage, and security technologies.
Troubleshooting expertise in Windows and Unix-based systems.
Experience with operating systems like Windows (2003, 2008, NT), Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Suse), Solaris, and BSD systems.
Knowledge of network safety systems, firewall, routers, DNS, DHCP, VPN, FTP, IP services, data storage networks, RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, iSCSI, FCIP, and OSI model.
