Assist in the development of annual audit work plans and ensure alignment with audit standards and company objectives;
Lead and oversee the planning and execution of financial, operational, and compliance audits while adhering to audit methodologies and industry best practices;
Perform detailed testing of key controls, identify possible issues, be alert to fraud risks, ensure the accuracy of audit findings and do timely and proper documentation of these findings;
Prepare audit reports, including findings and recommendations, and present to audit managers for review;
Evaluate the organization’s risk management and governance processes and contribute suggestions for improvement;
Conduct follow-up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective remediation;
Provide guidance and coaching to junior auditors and assist in their professional development;
Assist in special investigations and ad-hoc audit requests from management or the board;
Review the work of junior staff, ensuring that audit conclusions are well-supported by evidence;
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations;
In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport area, separate modern building;
Work Schedule: Full-time (5 days per week from 09:00 till 18:00);

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit-related field. (Master’s degree/MBA is advantage);
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA: min F7 or Dip.IFR, partial or full CIA, CIMA is a big advantage).
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant audit experience, 2 years in senior position;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
Proficiency in MS Office programs and particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel;
Ability to mentor and supervise junior staff members;
Good knowledge of English language;
Team player;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
