• Design and execute comprehensive communication strategies, focusing on media engagement, content creation, and social media optimization.
• Oversee the management and upkeep of corporate social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). This includes content creation, scheduling, and publishing to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
• Organize, attend, and support UBOC’s events and activities. Ensure active participation and follow-up to maintain brand presence and engagement after events.
• Develop high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content, including layouts and audio-visual materials, for both internal and external communications.
• Draft press releases, visibility materials, and other key documents to support event promotion, media outreach, and brand visibility.
• Provide high-quality copywriting for social media platforms, websites, and other marketing or public relations materials.
• Research and implement the latest communication technologies, trends, and best practices to improve internal processes and external communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and creating content for these platforms.
• Previous work in event management and supporting communications for corporate or public events.
• Strong proficiency with multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software).
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on concise and engaging content.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
