• Actively participate in formulating investment criteria and developing investment guidelines aligned with SOCAR’s corporate strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and prioritization of mid to long-term business and investment plans.
• Participate in development of a robust framework for investment evaluation to support strategic capital allocation and the SOCAR Group’s strategy execution.
• Engineer and implement valuation methodologies and develop sophisticated valuation models for accurate investment assessment.
• Lead the collection and prioritization of investment project proposals and formulating annual investment budgets.
• Lead the project stage-gate process and ensure strict compliance with SOCAR’s investment protocols and methodologies.
• Regularly review ongoing projects, identifying issues, and propose corrective actions.
• Continuously assess and monitor enterprise value of SOCAR and its affiliates, providing management with critical insights for informed decision-making.

• Master's degree in finance and economics.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, investment analysis, or a related field. Experience in the oil and gas sector and investment management is an advantage.
• CFA, FRM, or related certifications are an advantage.
• Theoretical knowledge in corporate finance and financial markets;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically in "Excel"
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
• Expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.
• Proactive and adept at problem-solving, anticipating, and resolving issues.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop junior team members.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex projects and making critical decisions.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, in Azerbaijani and English.
