- Demonstrate expert knowledge of building Microsoft Excel-based models and, ideally, familiarity with Excel add-ins
- Build, update, and maintain financial models to perform economic evaluations (NPV, IRR, etc.) of the feasibility and value of projects, including company acquisitions.
- Take independent lead in financial and economic analysis & modelling, directed in various aspects of the work.
- Develop and get agreement on input assumptions with due input from various functional specialists.
- Ensure accuracy of internal models and provide quality control/error checking of models provided by third parties (banks, partners, etc.).
- Understand and incorporate commercial/contractual/fiscal regulatory elements related to project/asset.
- Conduct project sensitivities, risk analysis, scenario tests.
- Prepare thorough reports outlining results of economic evaluations and basis for key assumptions in a clear and comprehensive way.
- Provide general negotiation support during investment projects.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, external advisors, and counterparties.
- Create and deliver high-quality presentations, teasers, and investment pitch materials tailored for internal and external stakeholders.
Xüsusi tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or similar relevant fields.
- Professional certifications (CFA, CIMA, ACCA or any other relevant)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, investment analysis, valuation modeling, financial, economic and risk analysis, underwriting or a similar field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Proven experience in a Business Development or Evaluation role.
- Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities is preferable.
- Competency in negotiating and closing business deals is preferable.
- Experience and good understanding of the oil and gas industry is preferable.
- Experience with the assessment of possible acquisitions, joint ventures, or other investment opportunities.
- Good understanding in Renewable Investment industry is preferable.
- Proficiency in written and verbal Azerbaijani and English languages.
