- Carry out duties on various accounting and tax compliance matters.
- Support daily accounting activities and operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports in accordance with tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Monitor and manage AR/AP accounts, including reconciliations and related reporting and follow-up
- Handle bank and cash transactions.
- Maintain customer accounts and support proper revenue recognition in accounting records
- Record business transactions in accounting software (e.g., 1C or other company-specific software).
- Payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate calculation of wages and related taxes.
- Assist in preparing internal reports and financial reports, such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Monitor correspondence and resolve issues with tax and other regulatory authorities.
- Respond to management inquiries and provide timely financial information as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in maintaining accurate and organized accounting records
- Perform daily accounting and finance tasks as assigned
Xüsusi tələblər
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related business disciplines
- 3–4 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of tax and labor legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan
- Proficiency in 1C; knowledge of other accounting software is an advantage
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian
- Professional certifications such as ACCA (F3, F7) or PMS (Peşəkar Mühasib Sertifikatı) preferred
- Other qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, DipIFR) are an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel functions and tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
