SOCAR’s Azerigaz Production Union is looking for a Head of Financial Reporting Division under the Finance Planning and Analysis Department.

• Preparation of monthly management reports;
• Financial analysis including monthly management reporting with explanation of results, identification of trends in financial performance, and recommendations for improvement;
• Preparation of annual IFRS reporting package;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
• Support month-end and year-end close process;
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
• Support company’s annual budgeting process;
• Verify the compliance of budgets and monthly deviation analysis;
• Prepare the forecast of Cash Flow and control cash flow balance monthly;
• Coordinate external audit operations during review/audit of financial statements and reports;
• Provide strategic and current analysis of profitability / efficiency of the company's operations as a whole and for individual structural units:
• Participating for the improvement of company ERP to targeted level.

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics ;
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the finance or accounting field;
• ACCA certification (F3, F5 and F7) and CIMA are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of National Accounting Standards (NAS) and IFRS; familiarity with
• Tax Code is a plus;
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English, Russian is an advantage;
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (SAP experience is advantageous);
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational leadership, and team management capabilities;
