Supervise, Advise, check drawings and liaise with the Piping Discipline Design Team to ensure all design drawings and documents clearly reflect the agreed design philosophy and international standards / specification.
Be able to mark up changes in P&IDs, check drawings against P&IDs, Plot Plans and layout drawings.
Prepare calculations for piping design, line sizing, wall thickness calculations, pump selection calculations. Stress analysis and vessel design will be advantageous.
Develop the specification and design of engineering projects from initial concept through detail design, construction/installation and final close-out.
Prepare all necessary design reports and workpacks throughout the design development phase.
Advise and liaise with the Planning Engineers in the preparation of project plans for all design and installation phases.
Ensure all project related equipment and materials are correctly specified and all necessary procurement documentation is produced.
