Economist/Senior economist for Risk Management Department.

Obtain sufficient background information and knowledge of overall business process, and identification of key risks of business process;
Prepare business processes list based on obtained knowledge;
Align on control deficiencies with control owners and assists in the preparation of management remediation actions;
Proactively communicate challenges and risks to the Head of Finance Control to ensure objectives are achieved on time and at the required quality;
Serve as an advisor in designing and implementing business processes and controls that mitigate and address risks;
Ability to present information through flow-charts;
Identify control gaps in processes, procedures and systems;
Developed and implemented corrective actions to bring business areas in line with standards;
Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field;
Minimum 3 years in accounting/financial control;
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Visio
Microsoft Power Point
Microsoft Word
SAP (would be considered as an advantage)
Ability to work well under pressure and with a high degree of autonomy;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to explain risk and control concepts in a clear and concise manner;
Fluency in Azerbaijani and English is required; Russian is an asset;
Accounting, Internal Audit or Risk management qualification or studying towards e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIA (would be considered as an advantage).
