This is a full-time on-site opportunity for a Head of Internal Audit based in Baku. In this role, the Head of Internal Audit will lead audit functions and ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing audit plans, assessing internal controls, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks, reporting findings to senior management, and recommending actionable solutions. The Head of Internal Audit will also collaborate with leadership to improve processes and ensure financial and operational efficiency.

• Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating data, identifying risks, and proposing effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Financial Risk Management and Finance to oversee all aspects of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with Internal Controls and Accounting to ensure the organization's compliance and accuracy of financial records.
• Deep understanding of audit methodologies, regulatory compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage and guide a diverse team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA is strongly preferred.
• Experience in financial institutions or a regulated environment is a plus.
