- Lead and supervise engineers and mechanics within the Maintenance Department.
- Plan, organize, and monitor the work of mechanics, technicians, and maintenance staff.
- Prepare work allocation plans, shift schedules, and vacation schedules in line with production plans.
- Ensure continuous improvement of employees’ technical skills and qualifications.
- Maintain all mechanical equipment in proper operating condition.
- Organize daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of equipment.
- Investigate equipment failures and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Monitor the proper use of spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Participate in the design and implementation of mechanical systems for new equipment and process modifications.
- Organize preventive maintenance plans for newly installed equipment.
- Contribute to the preparation of maintenance procedures, forms, and work instructions.
- Ensure maintenance personnel are trained and certified in accordance with Mechanical Equipment Safety Regulations.
- Coordinate technical teams for maintenance of production and facility equipment.
- Propose innovative, cost-effective, efficient, and safe equipment solutions.
- Develop recommendations to optimize technical material usage and reduce operational costs.
- Organize preventive and corrective actions to minimize technical nonconformities and unplanned downtime.
- Instruct, guide, and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure production efficiency and compliance with procedures.
- Prepare annual maintenance and investment budgets and present them to management.
- Participate as a member of occupational accident investigation committees and provide recommendations.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, recommendations, and disciplinary reports when necessary.
- Plan spare parts and material procurement.
- Monitor warehouse stock levels.
- Participate in supplier selection and technical evaluations.
- Support acceptance testing and commissioning of newly installed equipment in accordance with methodology and ITP requirement
Xüsusi tələblər
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Chief Mechanic, Area Supervisor, or Mechanical Department Supervisor.
- Mechanical or technical certifications are considered an advantage.
- Knowledge or training in Quality Management Systems and ISO 5001 is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
