Implement the KCA DEUTAG Drilling Group Management System Policies and Procedures in all maintenance operations
Ensure the implementation of Engineering’s (RDS) Management System and Processes
Periodically review the above procedures to ensure their effectiveness and where required propose amendments and ensure their implementation
Ensure Assurance processes exist for the management of Technical Integrity for the Country assets
Review the Turan Drilling and Engineering Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and authorize recommendations for improvement
Conduct periodic rig visits, as required
Review Turan Drilling and Engineering Maintenance Systems and propose change as required
Review/amend Maintenance strategies to align with client requirements
Assign department workload to Maintenance and Engineering Team Leaders and monitor/evaluate results
Ensure that all recruitment and competence is executed and demonstrated in accordance with Turan Drilling and Engineering and KCA DEUTAG Drilling Group procedures
Carry out regular client liaison and obtain performance feedback
Ensure implementation of Engineering’s (RDS) Management Control and Project Reporting Systems
Interface with other parts of the Engineering organization, to achieve best use of resources and written guidelines set by E&P management. In conjunction with KCA DEUTAG Drilling Group management, develop and execute processes and systems to maximize Azerbaijani content, personnel, procurement, and construction

The technical ability and knowledge to discuss with onshore Maintenance Superintendents the day-to-day operations and prioritise as required
General awareness of Company Policies and Procedures
Understanding of statutory rules and regulations
Recognised Engineering Qualification / Diploma
Previous experience in a supervisory technical role required
Can work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong supervisory skills
Excellent Oral and Written English skills
Necessary Computer skills with good user level of Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and Project
Personnel Management skills
Ability to motivate others
Good communication and organizational skills
Strategic thinker with ability to lead team or projects
Commitment to safe working practices, policies and legislation
Comprehensive understanding of Drilling Equipment and functions
