TRS Consultant (Tax Reporting)

Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws and reporting requirements of the Clients;
Negotiate with tax authorities to resolve tax payment issues and ensure tax filings are submitted within the estimated timelines;
Work together with the finance, accounting, and operational teams on compliance requirements and applicable tax criteria;
Prepare/Review all types of tax returns as well as track the filing obligations;
Assist with internal and external audits.
Handle the bookkeeping and monthly analysis of the tax accounts, reconciliations as well as routine tax and accounting-related queries of the Clients;
Compiling and presenting managerial reports, tax & accounting budgets of the Clients;

Proven experience as a (tax) accountant or senior (tax) accountant;
Good understanding of local tax legislation;
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial data, and analytics;
Understanding of IFRS and financial statements;
Proven experience in tax reporting;
Experience with accounting software (MS Nav is an advantage);
Advanced MS Excel skills. Power BI and Alteryx knowledge would be considered an asset;
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant;
Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA) will be preferred;
Consulting experience is an advantage;
Fluency in Azerbaijani, and English. Russian language would be considered an asset;
Organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
