- Coordinate work activities of piping 3D modelling Engineers.
- Proactively plan project workload and review performance to ensure efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
- Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
- Proactively partner and cooperate with other engineering disciplines to promote a collaborative design environment in a 3D integrated design system.
- Perform quality review checks and design reviews for 3D modelling and piping deliverables including issue for construction packages (IFCs).
- Develop and advance group tools and workflows to increase efficiency of designs and project execution.
- Interpret, establish, and refine 3D piping Modelling policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in the generation of project proposals, labour hour estimates, scopes of work and schedules.
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are properly integrated into designs.
- Perform 3D-modeling using Modelling software for Mechanical, Safety, Soft Volumes, Escape & Transport Routes, Access & Material Handling Routes, Equipment modelling, Package modelling with required TP points, Piping and Pipe supports.
- Be familiar with On-shore facilities – Piping layout design, Material handling, Piping/ Pipe support design, safety requirements, Conduct 3D Model Reviews as per the Project requirements.
- Prepare MTO for the Piping Bulk items, Valves and Specialty Tagged Items.
- Perform and Checks the Model for Clashes on regular basis and collaborate with other disciplines for effective cleaning of the 3D Model to make it clash free on regular basis.
- Perform Design Review on regular basis by using Modelling and Review software for establishing the Layout / Piping design in accordance with “P&Id”s and meet the project requirements2D Drawing preparation and checking for Plot plan, Equipment plan, Isometrics and pipe supports drawings by using Drawing software.
- Effectively manage the design changes and provides appropriate solutions, as and when, needed during the Project execution.
- Collaborate well within team and communicate effectively with stress engineers, Pipe support Engineers/Designers and Piping material engineers. Guide and supervise the layout design team, as required.
- Support the 3D Modelling Lead/ Piping Leads/ Piping Manager/ Engineering Manager in meeting project schedule and budget along with other team members.
- Maintain a positive and safe working environment at work location.
Xüsusi tələblər
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10 + years related professional experience in piping engineering, design and construction within the chemical process, refining, and/or pharmaceutical industry including equipment layout, piping design, and pipe support design.
- 10 + years 3D piping design experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Proficient knowledge of 3D modeling tools (Auto CAD 2D/3D, Navisworks, SP3D, E3D, etc.) for efficient production of piping design documentation.
- Knowledge of industry-standard checking procedures.
- Proficient in English language
- Capable of creating required engineering documentation using Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
