Prepare health and safety strategies and developing internal policies; Implement a site safety program;
Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials;
Take part in incident investigations to identify causes and to determine how such incidents might be prevented in the future;
Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort, or performance;
Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with HSE standards and government regulations;
Conduct HSE training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment;
Conduct safety induction training to newly hired employees;
Undertaking risk assessments and site safety inspections;
Identifying potential hazards advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g., fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases;
Determining ways of reducing risks;
Compiling statistics;
Making presentations to groups of employees/managers;
Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
Should be capable to prepare HSE related documents, TRA, JSA and also should be able to revise existing documents if and when required.
Work time: 5 days, 08.00-17.00
