Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
Prior teaching experience in chess, especially at the secondary school level, is highly desirable.
Chess teaching certificates or qualifications are also desirable.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of various teaching methods to effectively instruct students in chess.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging chess lessons to students.
Prepare instructional materials and chess-related activities to enhance learning.
Assign chess puzzles, homework, and practice exercises to students.
Identify and provide support to students with varying chess skill levels, creating individualized learning plans when necessary.
Evaluate and record student progress through assessments and games.
Offer constructive feedback to students based on their performance and participation in chess activities.
Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their children's chess progress.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administrators to create a positive and enriching chess education experience.
Adhere to the school's schedule and teaching responsibilities.

Fluency in English is compulsory, as the chess instruction will be conducted in English.
The interview process will be conducted in English as well.
