• Manage payload requirements, system Eng. & performance analysis.

• Monitor & participate in Electro-Optical Payload acceptance tests & Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT).

• Work with different disciplines such as optical, electrical, mechanical and thermal engineers

• Experience in Electro-Optical systems AIT or leading a technical team.

• Design electro-optic payloads for space, considering specs and mission requirements.

• Conduct feasibility studies to optimize performance with sensors and optical systems.

• Perform analyses and simulations for optimal payload functioning.

• Create detailed engineering docs, including specifications and technical reports.

• Possess expertise in optical systems, including lens design and imaging.

• Implement calibration algorithms for accurate sensor performance.

• Provide regular project updates and contribute to technical reports.

• Oversee the integration of electro-optic sensors into satellite platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability.

• Communicate progress through project updates and formal reports.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for innovative solutions.

• Master’s degree in Electro Optics, Physics, Electrical engineering or another related field. PhD preferred.

• Minimum of 2 or more years of industry related electro optical engineering experience.

• Strong electro-optics knowledge in physics

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electro-optic payloads.

• Knowledge of calibration algorithms and image processing techniques for electro-optic data.

• Strong hardware, laboratory, data analysis, analytical, and software skills with a demonstrated ability to complete and/or lead engineering analysis tasks.

• Experience developing engineering analysis methods and tools using a primary computer programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or another appropriate language).

• Expertise in optical systems, including lens design, imaging systems, and sensors.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (technical writing, presentation skills) – at least B2/Upper Intermediate or higher

• Ability to work in high level engineering team.

• Excellent research and development skills.
