Tax Compliance: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and other relevant filings, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and maximize tax benefits in alignment with business objectives.
Research and Analysis: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on complex tax issues, and provide insightful analysis and recommendations to management.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to taxes for internal and external reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Tax Audits and Controversies: Manage tax audits, inquiries, and disputes with tax authorities, including responding to notices, providing documentation, and representing the company in discussions or negotiations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions, transactions, and contracts.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes, enhance controls, and leverage technology solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness in tax compliance and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
2+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, with a focus on corporate taxation.
Experience with tax planning, compliance, and reporting for technology companies or similar industries is a plus.
Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems; experience with SAP and 1C.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and apply complex tax rules.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision.
