Provide technical leadership and guidance to the mechanical maintenance team on the offshore gas platform.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Collaborate with other departments, including operations and procurement, to ensure timely availability of spare parts and resources for maintenance activities.
Analyze equipment performance data and trends to optimize maintenance schedules and improve reliability.
Participate in the planning and execution of major maintenance and overhaul projects, including shutdowns and turnarounds.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Prepare Permit/TRA and take Performing Authority role at site during implementation/maintenance

Higher National Diploma (HND (A-levels + 3 years’ study))
5 to 10 years experience in the maintenance field on O&G production installations,
A basic knowledge of the process of O&G treatment, and installations and a thorough knowledge of the Mechanical equipment used in O&G treatment installations:

Screw (lubricated and no lubricated) compressors
Centrifugal and reciprocating pumps
Bearing and mechanical seal replacement
Suction/discharge check valve troubleshooting/standard exchange
Alignment using a laser tool
Piping valve/element replacement
Condition Based Monitoring (vibration & lube oil analysis, thermography)
Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
Local Electrical Safety Group Certificate (I to III)
CompEX Ex F, Ex01-04, EX11
ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity - MJI 10
ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity –MJI 18
Compression fittings & small bore tubing - ECITB SBT 01, 02, 03 and ECITB TSBT 01, 02, 03
