- Support certified NDT inspectors in performing non-destructive tests (ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, visual inspection, etc.) on materials and components.
- Observe and learn to interpret and evaluate results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Help document and report findings accurately and in a timely manner.
Training And Development
- Participate in on-the-job training and formal education programs to learn NDT techniques and industry standards.
- Study and prepare for certification exams in various NDT methods.
Equipment Operation And Maintenance
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of NDT equipment and instruments.
- Learn to ensure calibration and functionality of NDT equipment.
Compliance And Safety
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during testing procedures.
- Learn and follow relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM, ISO) and customer requirements.
Collaboration And Communication
- Work closely with certified NDT inspectors, engineers, quality assurance personnel, and other team members.
- Develop clear and concise communication skills regarding inspection results and potential issues.
