• Apply engineering principles to assigned projects, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  
• Assist in reviewing, interpreting, and providing feedback on civil engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with design standards and regulations;
• Support project management and act as a contributor in civil engineering for site planning, construction, expansion, or modifications;
• Offer support and advice to the site management team regarding applicable processes, practices, and regulatory requirements;
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting efforts related to civil engineering aspects of the project;
• Assist in developing scopes of work, evaluating proposals, administering contracts, and managing vendor relationships for services and equipment procurement;
• Assess the value of risk reduction measures and identify opportunities for improvement in civil engineering processes and practices;
• Support civil engineering efforts on large and complex projects, collaborating with other engineering disciplines to develop new systems or modify existing ones;
• Assist in ensuring the approval and integration of work from various engineering disciplines, maintaining alignment with project goals and objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required (master's degree is advantageous).
  
• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering related to construction, site planning, and project development.
• Demonstrated capability in applying civil engineering principles and methodologies to solve problems.
• Familiarity with risk assessment techniques and process improvement in civil engineering contexts.
• Proven track record of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support the development and modification of engineering systems.
• Practical involvement in ensuring project compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and organizational goals.
• Previous experience with tools and software commonly used in civil engineering, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate HSE expectations and requirements to contractors.
