Pursuing SYSS – Systems & Software opportunities with associated HW & SW to optimize solutions and win trust in customer management organizations.
Identifying, meeting with new business opportunity customers, new markets, and potential industry partners across the Energy Industry, especially focusing on greenfield and strategic projects identified in the project funnel.
Taking end-to-end ownership of the technical bid on all pursuits and taking the lead in commercial negotiations including legal terms and conditions, achieving the individual booking target.
Building links with new customers, understanding their positioning Emerson Systems proposals to address their challenges to get Emerson in pole position
Collaborating closely across various Business Units to develop pursuit strategies for wider Emerson play and potentially accessing non-Process Systems & Solutions accounts.
Develop and implement pursuit strategies to position Emerson as the preferred solution provider for the projects.
Understanding regional competitors and competitor’s products and applications, responsible for collecting market trends and specific customer requirements and timely feedback to the management.
Accurately being responsible for the ‘area new business plan,’ regional forecasting, and booking data for Process Systems & Solutions throughout the year.
Ensuring full compliance with legal and Company requirements regarding Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and following the procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, automation & control or equivalent experience
Background and experience in new Business Development, Field Sales, and Engineering
Demonstrate a consultative approach to selling.
Be an excellent teammate willing to work with other salespeople in the region and globally
Proficient English and the local language are required and Russian is plus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office
Willing to travel
Valid driver’s license
+3 Years of sales experience preferably in process control and automation
Excellent technical knowledge and validated experience of selling automation and control systems (DCS, ESD, SCADA, RTU, LDS, ISW, VMS), especially in the Energy Sector. Strong understanding of Emerson product portfolios.
Experience in developing successful cross-functional relationships internally, within a matrix organization
