Vakansiyanın təsviri
- Adhere to shipping/receiving and regulatory-compliance procedures for international shipments and custom clearance procedure
- Comply with laws, regulations and standards (Local and International) for international shipments and custom clearance procedure
- Plan and co-ordinate international transportation and international delivery of materials and tools with product line managers and inventory team
- Communicate with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers, instructions, performance control, shipping paperwork control
- Complete shipping documentation for international shipments when necessary using computer-based technology
- Provide and maintain good customer service and solve problems with international shipments and customs issues
- Record relevant shipment data for international shipments and customs declaration
- Rectify problems such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications associated with international shipments
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with those on your team, as well as cross-functionally
- Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager Make sure that the adequate policies published for NOV are followed and applied for international shipments
- Keep track of expiry dates for the supplier’s contracts necessary for customs clearance procedure and international delivery and work close with business group during the review process
- Be aware of the local regulations (MES, Environmental, Customs and other government bodies) and keep track of the certification and licencing necessary for customs clearance procedure
Xüsusi tələblər
- Higher or secondary education
- Previous experience in customs regulations
- Working knowledge of a logistics environment
- High level of fluency in Azerbaijani and English
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate with customer and government bodies at all levels
- A strong sense of customer focus (internal/external)
- Ability to work and relate effectively with both executives and operators on the floor to drive a teamwork mentality and communicate goals and progress towards them
