- Progress reporting
- Consult with and take direction from assigned Instrument Engineers
- Develop detailed design drawing / document packages from offshore reports
- Preparation of Block Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules. Hydraulic / Pneumatic
- Experienced Designer with sound technical background, sound knowledge of CAD drafting techniques and full understanding of materials and methods normally used within the Instrument discipline
- Process Hook-ups, Bill of Materials etc
- Proficient in use of AutoCad and MS Office products
- Computer literate (Data base / Tag Data Tool Spreadsheets)
- Able to interpret P&IDs
- Ability to address operational and maintenance issued in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
- Previous experience / knowledge of BP Caspian Sea assets, procedures and software is seen as an advantage
- Willingness to attend site (offshore Caspian Sea) would be seen as advantageo

- We’d like you to have a HNC in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines. You need to be competent and have an interest in working with AutoDesk design products.
