- Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
- Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
- Develop electrical system layouts, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics for various projects (e.g., industrial, commercial, infrastructure).
- Prepare detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
- Perform design calculations related to electrical systems (e.g., load analysis, circuit sizing, voltage drop calculations).
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, local regulations).
- Perform checks and validation of designs to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFI (Requests for Information), and assisting with electrical installation.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical system issues and proposing effective solutions.

- Typically has 3+ years of relevant discipline experience. Has an intermediate understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.
