Developing proposals for the application of internationally accepted practices and corporate governance mechanisms within SOCAR Group, including corporate standards (policies);
Setting up an effective working mechanisms for governance bodies;
Taking part in the process of developing audit, ethics & compliance mechanisms and corporate structures for SOCAR Group;
Taking part in the process of evaluation of corporate governance maturity level of Group companies;
Managing the approval process of related party transactions, as well as transactions of special importance;
Taking part in the process of incorporation & liquidation of legal entities (subsidiary, JV, associate companies);
Establishing effective shareholder control mechanisms within SOCAR Group;
To participate in the formation of collegial bodies for the SOCAR Group and development of their operating principles.

Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance);
Degree in abroad is a privilege;
At least 5 years of related experience, preferably in corporate governance area;
Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
Time management and organizational skills;
Ability to develop new approaches to resolve complex issues;
Strong work ethics, problem solving;
Knowledge of and ability to analyze both international and local legislation and best practices on corporate governance;
Fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
