This is a full-time on-site role for a Scientific Research Manager, located in Baku. The Scientific Research Manager will be responsible for overseeing research projects, conducting market research and analysis, designing research questionnaires, and communicating findings. Day-to-day tasks include managing research teams, developing research methodologies, and presenting results to stakeholders.

• Leads scientific and theoretical research in the fields of plant health, animal health, food safety, and biosecurity, and oversees the implementation of such research activities.
• Prepares and publishes research findings in reputable local and international scientific journals; coordinates the publication process.
• Develops scientific foundations for risk assessment in the areas of food safety and animal health, and ensures risk calculations are conducted based on sound scientific principles.
• Contributes to the development of technical regulatory legal acts related to plant health, animal health, and dairy products, in alignment with current standards, norms, and regulations.
• Participates in educational and awareness initiatives promoting food safety and the health of plants and animals, supporting healthy and balanced nutrition.
• Provides expert input on the analysis and management of legal and regulatory frameworks concerning food safety, plant and animal health, and environmental risks, with the goal of protecting national biosecurity.
