• Lead the piping layout team in the preparation of 3D models, piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Review and ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy of layout deliverables.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams for effective plant layout design.
• Manage piping space requirements, accessibility, maintenance, and constructability aspects.
• Participate in model reviews, clash detection, and resolution activities.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to piping designers and junior engineers.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a piping engineering role, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior position.
• Proficient in process simulation software (SolidWorks, Caesar II, ANSYS PDMS, E3D, Smart Plant 3D, or AutoCAD Plant 3D)
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, codes (ASME, ANSI, API), and industry best practices.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Familiarity with laser scanning and point cloud data.
