Evaluating incoming proposals and ideas, presenting the findings to the management;
Assisting segment's business units (EKOL and SOCAR Green) with their low carbon and green business projects, analyzing their activities, coordinating them with the Head Office and seeking the best solutions in order to streamline production and enhance profitability;
Collaborating with stakeholders in order to facilitate their low carbon and green projects;
Developing new business ideas regarding energy transition, environment and decarbonization;
Research for new cutting-edge technology in order to reduce carbon footprint of SOCAR and reach its announced commitments and submitting for the review of the department;
Conducting research and presenting new business ideas in order to reduce organization's carbon footprint or improve financial performance;
Reviewing information, business or project ideas regarding energy transition and environment provided by the management;
Conducting business correspondence with international and local entities;
Participation in various renewable energy and decarbonization projects and preparation of project documentation;
Compliance with SOCAR's internal corporate and workplace safety regulations.

Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science or other related field. MS or MBA is an advantage;
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
Basic understanding of energy transition, renewable energy, waste management topics;
SOCAR Group structure (international presence) and business activities;
SOCAR's decarbonization ambition (including short and long-term commitments), renewable energy projects;
Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
Analytical mindset (review proposed projects, conduct pre-feasibility study);
Fast learner, ability to work with tight deadlines;
Independent online research and summary preparation;
Preparation and delivery of presentations;
Communication skills, ability to work in a team;
Fluency in Azerbaijani, English. Russian (spoken) is desirable;
PMP, Sustainability related certificates or progress towards ACCA/CPA licences is an advantage.
