- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS).
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Administer virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and KVM.
- Ensure data backup, system updates, and patch management are performed regularly and efficiently.
- Monitor server performance, security logs, and ensure compliance with IT policies.
- Automate routine system administration tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- Manage server hardware, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of physical servers.
- Oversee storage solutions, including SAN , NAS and distributed storage environments.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, firmware updates, and resource optimization for Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco or similar server technologies.
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for server and network infrastructure (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools).
- Generate reports and alerts for system performance, health checks, and security incidents.
- Administer IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, including ticketing systems, incident management, problem management, and change management (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, or similar).
- Ensure ITIL best practices are followed for incident and change management.
Xüsusi tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux distributions, and virtualization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with server hardware (installation, configuration, and maintenance).
- Knowledge of storage technologies: SAN, NAS, RAID configurations, and distributed file systems.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools: Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems: ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, or Freshservice.
- Understanding of KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) for Linux virtualization.
- Knowledge of Docker for containerized applications.
