- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT risk management
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide security strategies and controls.
- Hands-on experience with network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence.
- Experience in leading security audits, compliance assessments, and regulatory reporting.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, endpoint security, and cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security monitoring.
- Familiarity with incident response, forensic investigation, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong leadership and ability to foster a security-first culture within the organization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to train and educate employees on security best practices and compliance requirements.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in working with auditors, regulators, and external security bodies to ensure compliance.
- Experience in DevSecOps, application security, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of AI-driven security, threat intelligence platforms, and automation in cybersecurity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify security gaps and implement proactive solutions.
