Estimate and manage costs for all activities related to soil works (e.g., excavation, backfilling, compaction, piling) and concrete works (e.g., foundations, slabs, columns, retaining walls);
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost plans based on design drawings and specifications;
Monitor actual costs vs. budget and report variances to project and commercial teams;
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations specific to soil and concrete works;
Manage the valuation of work-in-progress, change orders/variations, and final accounts related to ground and structural works;
Support tendering processes and contract documentation for civil packages;
Conduct site visits to verify quantities, progress, and compliance with specifications;
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental regulations;
Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives on soil stabilization and concrete usage;
Liaise closely with site engineers, geotechnical experts, and structural consultants.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management;
3+ years of experience as a QS, with a strong focus on soil works and concrete structures;
Familiarity with geotechnical reports and structural drawings;
Solid understanding of construction methods, material specifications, and industry standards related to earthworks and concrete;
Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel; experience with AutoCAD, CostX, or similar tools is an advantage;
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
