Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred);
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN, preferably in a secondary school setting;
- Strong understanding of adolescent learning needs and inclusive education practices;
- Experience in developing and implementing IEPs;
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE) is an advantage;
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents from diverse backgrounds;
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills;
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism;
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to students.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written);
- Azerbaijani language skills are an advantage.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Ability to use digital tools for tracking student progress and reporting.
