Controlling and monitoring of hook-up Contractor and its subcontractors regarding progress, quality, safety and
cost.
Managing & expediting of Hook-up for Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Transportation and Installation scope.
Reviewing, commenting, approving all documents, procedures, drawings, lift plans, method statements and task
risk assessments (TRAs) related to hook-up scope.
Reporting recurrently all the activities of the hook-up scope to Transportation & Installation Team Leader and/or
Construction Manager.
Managing, interfacing with and coordinating resources, serving as the main contact point among all disciplines
involved in the project to ensure effective execution and timely problem-solving of all hook-up activities.
Managing of hook-up Contractor as Company Representative during transportation and installation of
Jacket/Topside/Pipeline/Subsea Structures.
Developing and implementing hook-up Contractor to ensure smooth execution and effective technical
coordination, covering Marine, Lifting, Diving, Survey/Positioning Load-out and Hook-up activities.
Reviewing, developing and approval of hook-up procedures, lift plans, method statements and risk assessments
submitted by contractors and/or subcontractors.
Planning, coordinating and supervising both onshore and offshore hook-up activities in accordance with approved
procedures, lift plans, and risk assessments.
Ensuring that all operations comply with HSE requirements, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
Leading and coordinating the hook-up contractors and/or subcontractors.
Verifying that all lifting equipment, tools and accessories are certified, inspected and fit for purpose.
Ensuring proper communication and coordination with vessel crew, site representatives and other stakeholders.
Monitoring weather, sea state and site conditions and suspend operations if conditions become unsafe.
Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring all personnel are briefed on their roles, hazards and control measures.
Managing interfaces between onshore, offshore and marine operations where applicable.
Stopping the work immediately in case of unsafe conditions and implementing corrective actions.
Reporting incidents, near misses and non-conformances and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
Ensuring that all activities are completed safely, on time and within the agreed scope of work.
Monitoring and reporting on deviations and deviations corrective actions.
Attending meetings and providing technical advice to assist in the delivery of hook-up scope.
Performing other duties as assigned.

A minimum bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Engineering & Construction or an equivalent discipline.
A minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in the oil & gas industry, having held the same position on at least 5
(five) projects.
Mandatory: Excellent Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD. Optionally: PDMS, SAP and SACS software.
Good knowledge of oil & gas and construction industries and applicable international, local regulations and
standards requirements.
Good knowledge of hook-up procedures, cargo barge, crane and supply vessels and offshore conditions.
Good knowledge of fabrication of Jackets & Topsides.
Able to review and verify transportation support drawings, including sea-fastening and barge ballasting calculation
for sea towing conditions.
BOSIET and Offshore Medical Certificate (OMC-OGUK).
Experience in Jackets & Topsides offshore installations.
Strong negotiation skills, with good problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills related to hook-up
activities.
Fluency in English and Azerbaijani (written and spoken)
