  •  Determine the demand of subordinate organizations for materials, equipment, and spare parts in accordance with the department’s division of responsibilities;
  • Participate in procurement tender and commercial procedures;
  • Participate in the preparation of planned tenders, ongoing contracts, and other procurement documentation, and monitor changes during contract execution;
  • Collect and analyze technical requirements, specifications, and procurement documents from relevant technical departments;
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier offers in terms of price, quality, delivery time, and compliance with industry standards;
  • Participate in the updating of SOCAR’s Vendor List (including addition or removal of suppliers);
  • Conduct market research on gas equipment, materials, spare parts, and services;
  • Collect, systematize, and prepare comparative reports on supplier information;
  • Cooperate with operations, design, metrology, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate definition of requirements;
  • Participate in procurement reporting and database management;
  • Provide operational support in procurement processes in accordance with instructions from department management;
  • Organize correspondence related to the purchase of necessary materials;
  • Prepare monthly reporting data in a timely manner;
  • Maintain confidentiality in the area of responsibility;
  • Execute instructions from the department head in a timely and high-quality manner;
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving departmental working conditions;
  • Continuously improve professional knowledge and apply advanced working methods;
  • Participate in assigned commission activities;

Xüsusi tələblər

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 3 or 4 years of work experience in a relevant field;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to conduct professional business correspondence and presentations in Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of key stages of procurement and tender procedures;
  • Understanding of the principles of preparing technical and commercial documents;
  • Knowledge of regulatory and internal rules governing procurement activities;
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Negotiation and agreement management skills.
