Closely monitoring the technical level of the instrumentation engineering team, lead instrumentation and control engineering activities
Functional owner of instrumentation and control system engineering procedures and practices. Ensure that the instrumentation team works in full compliance to engineering procedures and processes
Lead design and review of DCS, ESD, F&G etc. control systems
Lead preparation of instrumentation data sheets, cause and effect diagrams, control diagrams, loop diagrams and hook-up drawings
Active participation in functional safety reviews, HAZOP studies and SIL assessments.
Evaluation of vendor proposals and technical bids.
Review of vendor documentation and inspection reports post award and active coordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Closely support front-end concept development and selection process
Closely support instrumentation engineering training requirements and talent development

Relevant bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business or similar field. Master’s degree is preferred but not essential
15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, including at least 3-5 years of experience of managing full pre-award and post award processes
Good working knowledge of Upstream Industry, its processes and business eco system
Engineering Degree, preferably Master’s, in instrumentation and control engineering
Significant prior experience in designing instrumentation and control system engineering
15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, including at least 3-5 years of experience of leading instrumentation engineering team
Goodworking knowledge of Upstream Engineering standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.)
Professional Membership or Chartership
Brownfield upstream experience mandatory
