- Under direct supervision, utilizes the functionality of the Transportation Management System to generate planned shipments for inbound and outbound freight within the Halliburton supply chain network.
- Notifies planner when shipment exceptions occur. Assists in investigation and resolution of Transportation Management System errors that prevent shipment execution.
- Reviews Transportation Management Systems plan regarding freight consolidation, mode selection, carrier selection and continuous move techniques and alerts the planner of necessary adjustments.
- Assists in executing carrier tenders and managing tender rejections.
- Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in supply chain, logistics, information systems, or similar discipline. This is an entry level job.
