Closely monitoring the technical level of the electrical engineering team, lead electrical systems design and engineering activities.
Functional owner of electrical engineering procedures and practices. Ensures that the electrical team works in full compliance to engineering procedures and processes.
Lead design and delivery of electrical packages such as Switchgear and MCC, Power Generation systems, HV & LV systems, Transformers, UPS, PMS, VFD etc.
Lead preparation of electrical specifications, data sheets, single line diagrams, load lists, interconnection drawings and schematics.
Lead preparation of Electrical system studies such as Protection Coordination study, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, Motor Starting studies etc.
Active participation in HAZOP / E-HAZOP Workshops, Risk Assessments, Model reviews, Design Reviews etc.
Evaluation of vendor proposals and technical bids.
Review of vendor documentation and reports post award and active coordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Closely support front-end concept development and selection process.
Support construction, commissioning, pre-startup activities and resolution of site technical queries.
Closely support electrical engineering training requirements and talent development.

Relevant engineering Degree, preferably Master’s, in Electrical engineering
15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, including at least 3-5 years of experience of managing full pre-award and post award processes.
Good working knowledge of Upstream Industry, its processes and business eco system.
Significant prior experience in designing electrical system engineering.
Good working knowledge of relevant engineering standards (IEC, IEEE, API, NFPA, NEMA, ATEX etc.)
Professional Membership or Chartership
Brownfield upstream experience mandatory
