Functional owner of piping engineering procedures and practices.
Lead preparation and review of piping deliverables including piping specifications, material selection reports, line lists, piping classes, wall thickness calculations, valve data sheets, and material requisitions.
Lead development and review of plot plans, equipment layouts, piping general arrangement drawings, piping isometrics, 3D model reviews, and pipe support philosophies.
Lead piping stress analysis and flexibility assessments, ensuring compliance with applicable design codes, project requirements, and operational constraints.
Closely support front-end concept development and selection process, including layout studies, piping routing studies, constructability reviews, and value engineering activities.
Active participation in risk assessments, HAZOP studies, model reviews, design reviews, constructability workshops, and design verifications.
Review of vendor documentation and reports post award and active coordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Evaluation of vendor proposals and technical bids.
Review vendor documentation and reports and actively coordinate inspections, fabrication activities, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Support construction, commissioning, pre-startup activities and resolution of site technical queries.
Closely support piping engineering training requirements, competency development, and talent management.

Engineering Degree, preferably Master's, in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including at least 3–5 years of experience leading a piping engineering team
Good working knowledge of Upstream Industry, its processes, facilities, and business ecosystem
Significant experience in piping engineering activities, including detailed design, procurement support, fabrication, construction, and commissioning
Good working knowledge of Upstream Engineering standards and codes (ASME, API, ISO, MSS, NACE, ASTM, etc.)
