QA/QC Inspector

Conduct Vendor QC inspections, site audits and site visits both onshore and offshore (if required);
Check and approve equipment and fabrication packs / data dossiers;
Assist and support QA in the QC Inspections (i.e. SIR’s, defects register, punch list sign-off etc.);
Monitor and measure vendor quality performance, conduct analysis and report trends;
Attend inspections as per the approved ITP, dependent on intervention points, and prepare inspection reports;
Compile and issue QA/QC reports;
Liaise with Procurement and Materials Department to ascertain inspection schedules;
Assist with the development, management and continues improvement of the QC system in alignment with management system;
Attend and contribute to quality meetings;
Ensure professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are completed in a timely manner;
Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example.

Previous experience in a similar role;
CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or equivalent (IWE, ASNT L2, API650) (mandatory);
Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining environmental, quality assurance and quality control systems;
Good understanding of Codes and standards requirements, typically ASME, AWS, BS EN;
Demonstrable exposure to and understanding of NDT techniques and processes;
Good understanding of the company-held certification standards (e.g., ISO);
Demonstrable experience indelivering safe operations in the work environment;
Understanding of purchase order requirements;
Demonstrable experience in conducting Audits as a technical expert;
Competent in the use of MS Office applications;
MIST;
Good written and spoken English (strong pre-intermediate level or higher).
