• Gain in-depth understanding of SOCAR Corporate strategy and facilitate cascading Corporate Strategy to business and functional segments of the company;
• Help design a stewardship (oversight) process to evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives across respective segments and facilitate discussion around key obstacles and roadblocks to aid implementation;
• Develop and implement an effective strategy communication framework and ensure proper communication of the strategy across the Group and relevant awareness of main stakeholders;
• Help cascade Corporate Segment Strategy to Business Unit level and play a key role in developing Business Unit Plan to be used by BU as guidance;
• Help design an innovative project tracking tool that will be used to track progress and ensure segment activities are in line with Corporate Strategy;
• Gain in-depth understanding of market characteristics and trends (e.g., market segment sizes, growth rates, critical recent developments, and sources of competitive advantage);
• Participate in designing and facilitation of quarterly oversight reviews with segment leadership and ensuring initial feedback is incorporated into existing dashboard/tool;
• Update SOCAR’s strategic financial model and data request and analysis;

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business administration, or Project Management;
• 3 years of experience, preferably in oil & gas industry (Business Analysis, Finance, Reporting);
• Familiarity with energy industry as well as oil & gas value chain; 
• General knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial modelling principles;
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to problems;
• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills;
• Time management, organizational and collaboration skills;
• Strong work ethics, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English;
• FRM, CIMA, FMVA, PMP are privilege.
