Physics Laboratory Assistant

Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials prior to class sessions;
Assist students and instructors during lab sessions by providing technical support and guidance;
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed;
Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and disposal of materials;
Keep inventory of laboratory supplies and reorder items as needed;
Assist in developing and testing new experiments and lab procedures;
Clean and store equipment properly after use;
Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure all safety equipment is in working order;
Provide basic training to students on the proper use of lab instruments and safety procedures;

Master’s degree in Physics (minimum requirement) with a high academic average and/or honors/distinctions;
Excellent command of English – applicants must be able to communicate and assist in laboratory instruction in English (Physics context);
Proficiency in office software tools (Microsoft Office and LibreOffice), and any software relevant to physics or laboratory management;
Strong commitment to high-quality education and fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment, in line with French academic standards;
International laboratory experience in academic research or the chemical industry is considered an advantage
