  • Build a customer portfolio by driving sales activities in Azerbaijan
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at potential customers and turn them into Visa ambassadors.
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key customers to identify customer needs and match them with Visa’s offering.
  • Plan and drive the sales process from initial contact all the way to signature.
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for Azerbaijan, and co-drive successful marketing projects with the Marketing team.
  • Represent Visa at conferences and other public speaking events.
  • Foster productive relationships at all levels with clients and the Visa organization.
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to jointly drive deal performance and strategy.
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to track performance against contractual targets.
  • Keep the account plan, budget, and pipeline up to date with current priorities and opportunities.
  • Manage identified projects by working with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Lead elements of the business review preparation for Group or Regional reviews.
  • In partnership with the Global Client Business Development team, develop and execute deal strategies.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support the development of business cases, evaluation of funding opportunities, forecasting of revenues, and expansion of Visa’s business.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and other functional teams to drive monthly portfolio reporting.

Xüsusi tələblər

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, business development, or related field.
  • Experience working with clients and stakeholders in Azerbaijan is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments industry and relevant market trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Fluency in English and Russian is required. Knowledge of Azerbaijan languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within Azerbaijan and Central Asia countries.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role, alternating time between remote and office, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs
